This isn't my first time decorating a cake...

... just my first time having instruction on doing so.

I have started taking cake decorating classes from Wilton at Michael's. The classes are once a week for four weeks. Every week we walk away with a finished product.

This weeks class was real informal and disorganized. Directions were to come with stiff icing and we would adjust the consistency in class. Lets just say...We all made it work!

1.5 hours practicing - 20 minutes to decorate. Not cool when you are just learning these new techniques.
